Itinerary 3 Days

Day 1Manali to Jobra, Trek to Chika3 km \ 3 PM

The trail starts with a scenic drive through pine and maple forests, followed by a gentle, acclimatisation-friendly trek alongside the Rani Nallah stream to reach the Chika campsite.

Day 2Chika to Balu Ka Ghera7–9KM / 3:30am

This is the most demanding and rewarding day. You'll ascend steep, snowy or rocky slopes to the pass for panoramic views of the Pir Panjal range. The descent brings you into the cold, stark landscape of Lahaul & Spiti to camp by the glacial river of Shea Goru.

Day 3Shea Goru to Chhatru & Excursion to Chandratal7 km \ 4 PM

You will trek down to the Chhatru campsite, which serves as a basecamp. From there, your group will take a scenic, rugged drive across the high-altitude pass to visit the stunning, crescent-shaped lake, Chandratal, before returning to Chhatru for the night.
