The Rupin Pass Trek is a high-altitude Himalayan crossover trek that begins in Dhaula, Uttarakhand, and ends in Sangla, Himachal Pradesh. Spanning approximately 52 km over 7 to 8 days, the trek climbs to an elevation of 4,650 metres (15,250 ft) before descending into the scenic Baspa Valley.
Renowned for its constantly changing landscapes, the trail passes through dense forests, traditional wooden villages, hanging settlements, alpine meadows, roaring waterfalls, glacial streams, snow bridges, and expansive high-altitude terrain. The trek is best suited for trekkers with previous Himalayan trekking experience due to its sustained ascents, long walking days, high altitude, and unpredictable mountain weather.
