The Hampta Pass Trek is one of India's most spectacular Himalayan crossover treks, connecting the lush green valleys of Kullu with the barren landscapes of Lahaul. Rising to an altitude of 14,100 feet, the trek offers an incredible variety of scenery, including pine forests, alpine meadows, glacial streams, snow-covered slopes, and dramatic mountain passes. Over five to six days, trekkers experience changing landscapes, high-altitude campsites, panoramic views, and the thrill of crossing Hampta Pass before descending into the beautiful Lahaul Valley. The journey often concludes with an optional visit to the stunning Chandratal Lake, making it one of the most memorable trekking experiences in Himachal Pradesh.
